Malcolm CSA is a seasoned entrepreneur, creative strategist and entertainment industry professional with over two decades of experience across fashion, music, events, branding, film production, and design. Widely recognized for his influential behind-the-scenes contributions, he has played a significant role in shaping and promoting talent, brands, and creative ventures across South India.
Born and raised in Chennai, Malcolm began his journey in the late 1990s, combining his passion for music, fashion and creative expression. His vision and leadership quickly earned him recognition as one of South India's leading show directors, having conceptualized and executed numerous fashion shows, entertainment properties and large-scale events.
As the Founder and CEO of Cloud 9 Entertainment, Malcolm has successfully partnered with international and national brands, delivering strategic branding, experiential marketing, and event solutions. He also heads Absolute Pictures, a film production company focused on developing compelling cinematic content.
A respected figure in the nightlife and hospitality industry, Malcolm has been instrumental in conceptualizing, launching and operating successful bars and clubs, helping redefine guest experiences and nightlife culture across the region.
Beyond entertainment, Malcolm's passion extends to art, design, architecture, interiors and creative innovation. Driven by creativity and excellence, Malcolm continues to create meaningful experiences that inspire audiences and elevate brands.

Jekyll & Hyde is one of Chennai’s premier restobars, located within the prestigious Keppel One Paramount IT Park in Porur. Spanning an impressive 15,000 sq. ft. on a single floor, the space offers a distinctive and immersive experience. The space has indoor and outdoor seating and can take more than 250 pax. There is a Diamond Deck, Private Pod, Arcade Lab, Karaoke Loft, Boho Lounge, an elevated DJ console, 3 video walls and an immersive audio visual experience.
Malcolm is the founder of Jekyll & Hyde. He had conceptualised, designed, executed the entire interior fit-out, including all technical aspects and successful launched J&H in June 2025.

FASHION TV ASSOCIATION
Malcolm took up the franchise of Fashion TV Hospitality in 2014 and was interested in opening an upmarket Night spot which Chennai needed. A 6500 sqft space in shell condition was finalized at Le Royal Meridian, Chennai. The F - Club & Lounge was conceptualized and space planned by Malcolm in two levels - Night Club and Alfresco zone. After the interior works were complete, the technically most advanced night club in Chennai was launched in June 2015.
The Club was very successfully operating until a dispute between the Hotel and the Club popped up to force shutdown.

DFM Fashion Show in Malaysia
With over 20 years of experience in Show business as professional entertainers, Cloud 9 Entertainment, an Award Winning agency had stepped into the world of filmmaking with a brand new identity – Absolute Pictures.
'B.E Bar' is a full length Tamil feature film produced by Malcolm under the banner 'Absolute Pictures' giving birth to a brand new genre in Tamil cinema, 'FRI-COM' (Friendship Comedy)
The film will be a tribute to all the people who were students having arrears at some point in life and depicting what they faced in reality to get it cleared. Each department in a college has its own expressions, characteristics and terminologies, despite all the drama and differences they all come together as one common aspect connects them - ARREARS. Based on this connect, Director RDM (Assistant of Veteran Filmmaker K.Bhagyaraj) has conceptualized a slapstick comic movie called 'B.E Bar'.
The film features Suresh Ravi and Ishaara Nair in the lead with Thambi Ramaiya, Livingston, Renuka, Madhu and Kalloori Vino in pivotal roles. 'B.E Bar’ has been carved to perfection by a bunch of talented technicians which include Cinematographer Vishnu Shri, Music Director Duo Adhitiya - Soorya and Editor Dinesh Ponraj.

THE POSTER OF THE MOVIE WAS LAUNCHED ON 29TH MARCH. THE POSTER WAS FIRST UNVEILED BY MR. UDHAYANIDHI STALIN AND OFFICIALY TWEETED BY HIM. A SELECTIVE MEDIA MEET WAS HELD LATER IN THE AFTERNOON TO UNVEIL THE POSTER AND HAVE AN INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH THE MEDIA.
